STAUNTON, Va. — The Blackburn Inn and Conference Center, recognized by Historic Hotels of America as the 2021 Best Small Historic Inn/Hotel and named among its 2025 Top 25 Best of Adaptive Reuse, has announced the expansion of its historic property with the addition of Blackburn South, a newly renovated building that will bring 42 additional guest rooms to the property, increasing total capacity to 92 rooms.
Blackburn South, located adjacent to the main inn, will feature a range of accommodations, including double queen rooms, king rooms, and specialty soaking tub rooms. The expansion reflects the property’s continued commitment to preserving and reimagining its historic campus while enhancing the guest experience.
Set on 80 acres of landscaped grounds and within walking distance to downtown Staunton, The Blackburn Inn has become a sought-after destination known for its blend of history, privacy, and personalized service.
